Introduction

The senior members of our pensions team have been at the forefront of self-administered pension scheme establishment, administration and trusteeship in the Isle of Man since 1985. We believe that this experience, which includes the administration of schemes for banks, building societies, insurance companies, government departments, stockbrokers, lawyers, accountants and high net worth individuals, is unrivalled by any competitor. We are, as a result, responsible for the majority of the new self-administered pension schemes presently being established in the Island. We also have a long and successful track record of arranging approved pension transfers between various jurisdictions to assist our clients in increasing flexibility, preserving capital and minimising taxation.

Fedelta Pensions Limited is registered with the Isle of Man Government Insurance and Pensions Authority as a professional Retirement Benefits Schemes Administrator under the provisions of Section 36 of the Retirement Benefits Schemes Act 2000. We are proud to boast that Fedelta Pensions was, in fact, the first company to achieve this status.

Other firms have now obtained registered schemes administrator status but, if you are looking for true pensions specialists to advise your clients, it is important to establish how long they have been offering pension schemes from the Isle of Man and how many schemes they manage. It should be noted that some of the newer firms to enter this market as yet have no (or very few) schemes under management despite extensive marketing campaigns over the last few years. By contrast, we manage approximately 300 self-administered pension schemes with a total sterling asset value running well into 9 figures.

We are always happy to arrange an initial meeting with clients and professional advisors without cost or obligation to investigate whether pension planning would be beneficial.
