Isle of Man Removed from District of Columbia Blacklist

A Tax Haven Blacklist produced in the District of Columbia that came into effect on 22 October 2015 has already been repealed following uproar from the singled-out countries and the business community.

The Council of the District of Columbia unanimously enacted legislation on 3 November 2015 that repealed the list of tax haven jurisdictions.

The Isle of Man is at the forefront of tax transparency following internationally set standards and vehemently rebuts any accusation of being a haven for unpaid taxation.
